Margaret River Youth Win Entertaining Battle

Margaret River 1 v Dunsborough 0

Margaret River hosted Dunsborough on Saturday in the semi – final of the knockout cup.

In conditions that have never been seen before - the game was a lottery and you knew this was a game that was going to be decided by the one goal.

To their credit both teams gave 100 percent and the large crowd were thoroughly entertained with some spectacular water slides from players losing their balance and at sometimes it looked like a game of water polo.

It took a moment of magic from Ryner Koster to seal the game as he was put through with only the keeper to beat and cooly slotted it into the corner of the net, and Margaret River held on to move on through to the grand final to be played in Busselton next week against the fast improving Vasse team.

Margaret River will go into the game as favourites but know only too well that in a final the form guide from the league has no bearing, this should be a cracker of a game.

Good luck to all of the other Margaret River teams on the day.
