With the League over it was now down to the Knockout Cup competition to finish off the season. FMR hosted Dunsborough on Saturday, with both teams playing for a spot in the Semi Finals next weekend in Busselton.

Average weather greeted the expectant crowd for a game against two teams which have been evenly matched over the season.

FMR were keen to put on a good performance and prove they have become stronger and more composed as a team.

The game was a one sided affair on the score sheet with the Margaret River boys running out comfortable winners against an under manned but spirited Dunsborough team.

I am sure next year will be a different story, both being young developing teams and able to still play in the same league again.

FMR will now focus and prepare themselves for next week’s challenge against a tough opponent in Cornerstone.

The Raiders dare to dream and play another week.
